Margaret Lomas, together with her husband Reuben, founded Destiny Financial Solutions in 1994. Doing it tough with five young children and never enough money, Margaret and Reuben used common sense and some trial and error to build up a portfolio of 34 properties. The strategies they used to achieve this outcome are now taught to Destiny clients around Australia. Margaret is a best selling property author of 5 books, a qualified financial and investment property advisor, board member of the NSW Small Business Development Corporation, and winner of Telstra NSW Business Woman of the Year 2006.

Margaret believes that the secret to Destiny’s success continues to be a strong and verbalised vision for the company and a determination to have a ‘big business mentality’ right from the start. Margaret will talk about how she took a business which started with nothing 10 years ago and today has 9 branches in 5 states, with 4 new branches planned for the commencement of 2007. She shares her passion for being in business and her absolute belief that a business will grow to fit the vision that its owners have, and the greater that vision, the greater the company will be. |
